My wife and I attended Life ways Fall Festival of Marriage on several occasions. On two of those occasions, during date time, I got the impression during my prayer time that God wanted us to go into marriage ministry. I told my wife and she said she had gotten the same impression during her prayer time. It was the second time that I felt God telling me to step out in faith and do what He had told us both. God revealed "Wanted" was the name He wanted us to use and then He made it clear to me why He desired that name. It was because we are all lost and fallen but He still wants a relationship with us no matter where we are in our walks. He impressed on me that too many people had forgotten about Him. Some even thought that their sins were too great and did not believe they could still come to Him. We should go and tell the people that God is waiting for them to come back to Him because He wants us all to be in fellowship with Him and each other. He wants us whether we have been married 50 years, 5 years, divorced, or even divorced more than once to come and receive the blessings that only He can give us. All we have to do is accept Him into our hearts and believe in Him. Basically God impressed on me that no matter what your sins are or where you are on life's journey that we are all Wanted by Him. The parable of the prodigal Son is a beautiful example of how a father's love for his children overrules any bad deeds. Just think how much more He loves us than those described in the parable. The fact that a Shepherd will leave his flock to bring back the ones that are lost is an awesome description of our God. For He is the Shepherd of us all and is constantly wanting His lost people to repent and come to Him. He will meet you where you are and return you to the fold; all you have to do is to ask. He wants us all and that is why we named the ministry Wanted Marriage Ministries. Remember, we are all Wanted people, so turn yourselves to the One who rules over all and receive your Rewards. Rewards are Guaranteed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bryan and Anna Giannini have been married for ten years. This is the second marriage for both of them. They have blended five lovely daughters, who are the light of their lives. They also have one sweet grandson, so far. Their daughters range in ages from 28 all the way down to 6, and they home school their 6 year old daughter. Bryan came to know Christ as his Savior in a personal way that he had not known possible back in 2002. Anna had been a Christian since she was 12 years old. They have sought the will of God in their daily lives and recently He has given them the direction in which to go. God has laid it on their hearts to promote and assist people to make their marriage a reflection of Gods design. They also want every married couple, whether this is your first, second, or third marriage, to know that you are "WANTED" by God. When Lifeway discontinued their Fall Festival of Marriage in Ocean City, they felt compelled to continue this ministry. They know that married couples need that time to recharge their "batteries" and they are going to keep that opportunity alive and well. It is their intention to follow what God puts before them and let His will direct their actions in this endeavor. They hope to provide enjoyable events throughout the years ahead.
My husband and I attended the Growing Together Hand in Hand marriage weekend in November 2010. This was the first time we attended an event like this, so we weren't too sure what to expect. We were nervous to say the least; however, we felt that God, in His mighty healing way, was leading us one step further in a journey of restoration that had started earlier that year. In a year of immense turmoil, anger and grief, God had truly touched us in so many ways. This conference was a pivotal point in that journey. It was Saturday night during the conference that my husband and myself committed to God and to each other to continue our marriage. What a mighty, loving and healing God we serve!
In early January of 2010, the kids and myself moved out and we began living our lives separately. Although I had been saved 8 years before, I wasn't walking with God prior to and during this marriage. In late January, with the help of my baby sister, God got a hold of me and changed my heart. It took a lot of prayers, tears, more prayers, patience, lots more prayers and a banana split (yes, a banana split), but in October of that year my husband placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Praise God! I never dreamed a banana split could make such a difference, but it's amazing the work the Lord can do through you when you listen to Him.
In January of 2011, the kids and myself moved back in and we began living our lives together for the Lord. Through this conference, we gained a better understanding of God's plan for our marriage. We learned valuable tools to help with making decisions, budgeting, communicating and most of all, keeping God as the focus in our marriage and family. We learned that we are a team for God and that He has plans for us together as a team. We learned that the success of our marriage is a choice we make and that we need to invest in our marriage to make it work. That is why we are planning to attend this conference every year.
If you and your spouse are hurting, if your marriage is crumbling or if you think it is too late, PLEASE attend this conference. The Lord has taught us that it is never too late, there is never too much damage, and there is nothing that He can't restore and heal. If you and your spouse are happy, if your marriage is secure or if you think that you don't need to attend a conference like this, PLEASE attend this conference. The Lord has also taught us that you never know it all, there is always room to grow together with the Lord and as long as you are still alive, God has a purpose for you both that you haven't yet fulfilled. God has blessed us in so many ways and continues to do so each and every day. We praise Him and thank Him for His love, His mercy and His grace. It is our sincere desire that you will be as blessed as we were by attending this conference. We would love to see and talk to you there!
May God be with and bless you!
